The lifting ring can be attached both to big bag loops and to plastic liners similarly and the system can be easily adjusted from low to high bags. The OKTOMAT®

100% automatically emptying
The flexible bag is drawn upwards and inwards by means of automatic bag lifting operation. By decreasing bag diameter, the bulk material will be pushed towards the area of suction.

At the end of conveying, the bag is lifted from the floor, thus enabling complete removal. The shape of the bag bottom determines the achievable “level“ of complete emptying (about 100% with liners with a round bottom and BigBags)
Fast amortisation
OKTOMAT® emptying stations often amortize in just a few months. Basing on - saved man-hours in the respective application - incurred disruptions of production and additional security costs, there are very good commercial arguments for an immediate investment.
Suitable for all materials
All kinds of freely flowing materials can be removed by means of vibrating suction head. Even regrind, powders, fibre and other difficult cases are possible.
The suction head will balance itself in the material, loosening clusters by vibration.
By means of the vibrating suction head the bulk material is loosened and can flow towards the suction area.
Options special - solutions
The basic version of the OKTOMAT®
system is suitable for most materials. Nevertheless there are special materials, which characteristics have to be considered if conveyed. Therefor there are a number of OKTOMAT®
options.

The material can be fluidized in addition, the loosening is effected by compressed air pulses.
An oscillating lifting ring solves the material flow or a raised suction head enables complete emptying of the conveying hose. Thus a corresponding discharging station can be adapted to the respective application in ideal way.

Control types
There are 2 extensive control versions available. The SOS control type (suction head oscillating system) is used in Standard version.
This also serves as the basis control unit for options 2/9/10. With option 7 there is a seperate control box for the pneumatic.
For high degree of requirements and for ATEX applications or balance material weighing, the Oktabag control version is necessary. Via CAN-bus these OKTOMAT® units can communicate with HELIOCONTROL.
OKTABAG Control
Continuous operation
Worldwide, thousands of OKTOMAT® - systems are operating under stringent conditions mostly in 3-shift operation in the plastics industry, but also in chemical and process engineering. Oktomat® - systems are constructed for industrial application and they are proved and tested since 1996.
Manual pallet truck sufficient
Due to the suction from above the containers are only moved at ground level. A manual pallet truck is sufficient.
Neither forklift trucks nor dangerous hoisting machine, like cranes or tilting devices are
100% emptying

necessary.
Automatic
OKTOMAT®-systems are generally self-sufficient and fit to each suction conveyor for bulk material. Once a minimum low pressure exists in the conveyor line the OKTOMAT® is connecting. Double units automatically switch to the next full container.
24h service
Upon receipt of notice of failure and clarification of the actual situation with HELIOS service department
(Mo- Th 8.00 - 17.00, Fr 8.00 – 12.00)
the necessary spare part will be sent to the customer by UPS within 24 h.
Installation
The OKTOMAT® SOS is pre-assembled packed delivered in a chip tray box and can be installed by anyone with the help of an instruction manual.
Maintenance-free
The emtying stations are virtually maintenance-free and service friendly to set up. Possibly necessary spare parts can be replaced by the customer with a few simple steps.
