Industry periphery software
HELIOControl is a Windows (from XP version onwards) based software platform to control, administrate and record all HELIOS dryers, HELIOS loaders and HELIOS discharging units. All 3 software modules can be operated separately or all together. The pheripheral devices are connected to a PC via CAN-Bus. Additionally, all the existing PCs can be operated synchronously with help of the company network (LAN).
HELIOControl can be installed on all common PC/IPC using Windows (from XP version onwards)
CAN-Bus Technology
The CANbus technology enables a fast and reliable data exchange. The HELIOS devices are equipped as standard with this technology enabiling network easily.
Server Technology
As soon as the software is installed, each data processor is acting as a master control platform and as a server under network (LAN) at the same time. Basing on this server technology, all available data processors can access to the HELIOcontrol under the company network (satellite user).
Protocol system
All parameters of drying, conveying and discharging can be continuously monitored. A PDF-file of the protocol is assuring the process run.
User profiles
Can be created individually. The administrator can determine the vertical range of programm and the editing possibilities for each user. The preset macro programmings can be determined to single users as well.
HELIOwin - Application

Every dryer within the system can be programmed exactly basing on the capacity and initial humidity of the resin. The necessary data is available on the HELIOS or individual customer data base and will be transferred via CAN-Bus. The desired drying result is achieved at lowest possible energy consumption. Whole the drying process is documented constantly and can be stored in form
of printed protocols.

All relevant parameters such as drying temperature, dry air volume flow, dew point of the dry air and drying time as well as eventually occured operational faults having influence upon the drying quality are constantly monitored as per single drying task over elapsed time. The actual state of all drying units within the system are monitored in real time under „job managment“. Every drying task is recorded in form of a protocol as per each drying task, in case of several days lasting drying process in 24 hours settings. The protocols are available as a PDF file.
Drying protocols for AUDIT / Certification
A consistent documentation of injecion moulding process and material preparation is indispensable especially in the medical and automotive applications, but also increasingly in the electro industry. The injection moulding process without a constistent documentation is not future proof, to pass an AUDIT by the customer or meet with the own certification. All HELIOS dryers of WINsystem type are applicable in standard to use the HELIOcontrol software and can be upgraded at any time.

Polymers data base
Benefit from experience with HELIOS by falling back to a data menu for all common resins or programming individually drying menu for special resins basing on your own experience and initial humidity of the resin.

Visual display
all information on drying process is collected monitored. Not only the process run but also the energy and compressed air consumption, residence time and eventual operational faults are also monitored. All dryers are shown in real time.

PC or IPC
HELIOvac - Application

HELIOvac is an universal conveying control up to 128 conveying points and 32 vacuum lines, consisting of MCM (micro controller module), Windows based software (from XP onwards) and CAN-Bus with 24 V power supply. One can plug any PC as a server via USB/CAN-Module. Additionally, all company PC’s can be used as satellite working places via company net work (LAN).

All round applicable
All current hopper loader types are applicable within this new system just adding the HELIOS-MCM (micro controller module). The HELIOS MCM module is able to handle open or closed stage signals from filling level sensors, discharge valves, filter dedusting devices etc. All established hopper loaders are applicable within the system by adding a MCM module (micro controller module). In so doing, the existing conveying system can be modified building a new centralized material conveying system integrated within the HELIOControl complete system.
