The heart of this unique dryer generation – the blue JETBOX / HELIOMAT® - containing the entire control, regulation and setting-up of the system. Should a malfunction occur, only the control unit has to be replaced – and that in no time, never again will a cost-intensive field service be required on the site.
All parameters necessary to the drying of hygroscopic plastics can be retrieved via an integrated databank. Furthermore, each user can set up individual drying programs for any 9 applications via a freely-programmable customer databank. The drying capacity can be set precisely at increments of 50 g/h. Thanks to the digital pneumatics developed and patented by HELIOS, the MICRO precision dryer only consumes as much dry air as is precisely necessary for performing the drying task at hand, thus saving considerably energy costs.

The plastics specialists at HELIOS have launched onto the market a device which will set standards in the industry. The precision micro dryer for the tiniest amounts has been especially developed for micro moulding (micro injection moulding) and has been adapted to meet the requirements of this target group. By means of continuous further development, a further model in the form of the MICRO dryer has been added to the JETBOX® range of dryers – which has been used thousands of times since it was first launched in 1998. The MICRO Dryer / Mini Dryer – which has been designed especially for the field of miniature and micro moulding – is available with micro dryer container sizes of 0.5, 1.0, 2.5 and 5.0 litres. The central part of this unique generation of micro dryers/mini dryers is the blue JETBOX®. The entire control and heating technology is contained within it. This design has the advantage that, should a malfunction occur, only the JETBOX® needs to be changed – and that in no time: never again will a cost-intensive mechanic be required on the site. Despite the smallest dimensions, the micro dryer system encompasses the permanent measurement and display of the dew point. This guarantees 100% compliance with the extremely important parameter of dry air quality. The HELIOS Micro Dryer MICRO represents an absolute novelty in the field of dryer technology. All data relevant to the manufacturing process are constantly displayed on the user-friendly control panel. The reference and actual values of the drying time and drying temperature can be read-out from the clear LED display – even from a distance. Furthermore, the user can always retrieve data from the micro dryerr regarding the current compressed air consumption expressed in litres per minute, the energy required for generating compressed air and the heating capacity in kW, via the LCD display. All parameters of the micro dryer relevant to the drying process can be read-out and documented with a serial interface via DryDoc. for internal quality assurance purposes. Via an integrated weekly timer, the Micro dryer can easily and individually be switched on and off fully automatically for each day of the week. By employing the relevant adapter, the Mini Dryer can be added to all common models of injection moulding machine. In addition to the already very comprehensive basic equipment, the functionality of the Micro Dryer can be extended in the form of 3 options. HELIOCONTROL: a precise dew point measuring system whose 5-year non-calibration guarantee is impressive. HELIOJET: the mini compressed air conveyor.
