Top-mounted dryer
WINsystem® dryers can be placed directly on the feeding zone of an injection moulding machine, thus enabling the dried material to flow directly towards the feeding zone and avoiding humidifying and post-cooling. The Jetbox can be selectively adapted to drying hoppers (15/30/50/75 liter).
The drying container can be combined with different kinds of Jetbox power levels depending on the requested drying capacity. The Jetbox is detachable by means of quick clamps without using any tools. There is a substitute Jetbox available for servicing times like recalibration.
Every WINsystem® dryer is demountable in handy single pieces, thus enabling rebuilding easily. The Jetbox is provided with 1 to 6 conveying valves depending on the conveying control type and performs the simplest task – 1 component conveying – up to the most challenging tasks – 2 components conveying with mixing and 2-stage dedusting on the drying container as well as 2nd conveying point for injection moulding machine feeding.
HELIOMAT® portions‘ drying system provides an ideal predrying for small production lots with frequent material change-over, with help of trolley the drying containers are transported to the injection moulding machines and adapted to a steady-state Jetbox on the injection moulding machine feeding zone. This enables a material-change without delay avoiding post-humidifying and cleaning difficulty. A continuous drying process can proceed by attaching a hoppper loader on the drying container.

The HELIOS stand-alone units are used in all places where top-mounted types are not usable for weight reasons or a centralized system is not considered meaningful. Especially for isolated applications within a plastics processing area, the stand-alone units come into operation near to the processing unit. The efficency with space requirements to HELIOS stand-alone type dryers are playing a decisive role.

Technical equipment
Dew point measuring
Every WINsystem dryer is equipped with an integrated precision dew point measuring device standardly controlling continuously the dry air quality up to -50°C, thus enabling an optimal drying result. This measuring system has proved to be without drift errors in long-time testing .
Material data base
All important polymer types are included in this data base. The dryer will be optimally adjusted to the selected polymer type. The polymer specific and flow rate based adjustment makes the drying precise and energy saving. It is, of course, possible to store also user-speficic polymers drying parameters.
Overdrying protection

The overdrying protection is activated when interruption of production. This system controls the material flow rate protecting against thermal damaging. The dryer unit reduces its capacity and
protects the material until the next taking.
Energy efficiency
The WINsystem® dryers are spending as much compressed air and heating energy only as exactly necessary for the drying task by means of the HELIOS data base, which is optimally adjusting the dryer polymer type specifically, the HELIOS digital pneumatic with its high-precision dry air volume flow adjustment, the exact temperature control and the overdrying protection. This is why HELIOS is able to grant the energy efficiency.
Conveying control

WINsystem®
dryers are able to operate independently 1 – 2 compressed air hopper loader s with 1 or 2 components conveying control with or without dedusting. The conveying period, mixing ratio, dedusting ratio, distance balancing, filter dedusting and control over shortage of material are selectable.
Weekday timer

Every weekday and single docking station can be easily and individually programmed with the week-timer.
Automatic preheating program before the set start provides optimal material at the beginning of production.

24 h service
Upon receipt of notice of failure and clarification of the actual situation with HELIOS service department
(Mo.-Th. 8.00 – 17 h, Fr. 8.00-12.00 h)
the necessary spare part will be sent to the customer by UPS within 24 h.
No need for maintenance
WINsystem® dryers are maintenance-free generally. Possibly requested spare parts can be easily replaced by the customers. Only the filters have to be replaced precautionary or if required.
